An exercise you can try straight away
Out of 20 responses, eight people prefer the morning, seven the afternoon and five give no preference. The summary states: “The majority prefers the morning.” Ask each participant to calculate the proportion, classify the statement and justify their choice.
Answer key: 8/20 = 40%. Morning is the leading preference but is not a majority of all responses. The five responses giving no preference do not establish a preference for morning. An individual written response makes reasoning observable beyond the group discussion.

Who is it for?
For a trainer who wants to run a reasoning exercise, have participants produce individual answers, then explain the answer key. Adapt the vocabulary, difficulty and duration to the audience. This is formative use: no certification or automatic marking.

Can I modify the worksheets?
Yes, under an individual trainer’s licence: adaptation and use in their own training sessions. Resale and redistribution of the complete kit are excluded.
Do I need ChatGPT?
Not to use the included files and offline preparation tool. Cases still need to be reviewed and adapted.
